POPA- Fisheries Observer Program of the Azores: Marine mammal sightings in the Azores tuna fishery from 1998 on: during navigation or search mode

Sightings of cetaceans were recorded daily, at 6 different fixed periods (snap shots), when the boat was in navigation or search mode. Sightings were recorded at distances shorter and larger than 300 meters from the boat.
