As part of the Smithsonian’s MarineGEO (marinegeo.si.edu) program, diver visual surveys following the Reef Life Survey (reeflifesurvey.com) protocol surveyed subtidal communities around Carrie Bow Cay, Belize in September 2015. Surveys were conducted in reef, seagrass, mangrove, and sandy bottom habitats.
