Kenya Marine and Fisheries Institute has a digital library repository of published work called KMFRI/dspace http://41.215.122.106/dspace/ from which publications with marine species were downloaded and the species described in them, their sampling locations and latitudes and longitudes. This data will contribute sopecies lists in Afremas, Worms and OBIS datasets. This effort has been championed by the ODINAFRICA project.
