Original provider: Conservación Internacional - Pretoma Dataset credits: Data provider Colombia Originating data center Satellite Tracking and Analysis Tool (STAT) Abstract: Bahía Málaga on the Pacific Coast of Colombia is a recently discovered foraging and developmental ground for green and hawksbill turtles. A total of 8 satellite tags have been deployed in a joint effort between Conservación Internacional Colombia, Crema Costa Rica, Ecomanglar, Consejo Comunitario Bahía Málaga La Plata, Fundación Tortugas del Mar, Programa de Conservación de Tortugas y Mamíferos Marinos, Parques Nacionales Naturales and Corporación Autónoma Regional del Valle del Cauca. This dataset is a summarized representation of the telemetry locations aggregated per species per 1-degree cell.
