Nematodos de las Colecciones Biológicas de la Universidad del Magdalena

El presente conjunto de datos contiene a los nematodos de las Colecciones Biológicas adscritas al Centro de Colecciones Científicas (CCC) de la Universidad del Magdalena. El recurso cuenta actualmente con 231 registros biológicos de especímenes que fueron recolectados en distintos puntos del Caribe colombiano, tanto en áreas costeras como profundas y de muestras limnoterrestres (Briófitos y líquenes). Gran parte del material disponible fue obtenido de proyectos desarrollados por entidades externas que lo han depositado en la colección y proyectos financiados por la Universidad del Magdalena. Los especímenes están depositados bajo el acrónimo CBUMAG: NMA. La colección fue documentada, digitalizada y publicada por primera vez durante la ejecución del proyecto BID-CA2020-055-NAC "Incremento de la accesibilidad de información marina de las Colecciones de Historia Natural de Colombia, mediante la movilización de datos, el fortalecimiento de la infraestructura y el entrenamiento". El presente conjunto de datos es el producto de dicho proceso realizado entre 2021-07-01 y 2023-06-30, como parte del entregable “Colección de biología marina del Centro de Colecciones Biológicas de la Universidad del Magdalena – CBUMAG” aportado por la UniMagdalena al proyecto. Recientemente, se realizó el deposito de nematodos limnoterrestres encontrados en briófitos y líquenes, en el marco del proyecto titulado "Micro y meso fauna anhidrobiótica (Tardigrada y Nematoda) asociada a hábitats terrestres de la Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta" financiado por la Universidad del Magdalena. This dataset contains nematodes from the Biological Collections attached to the Scientific Collections Center (CCC) of the Universidad del Magdalena. The resource currently has 231 biological records of specimens that were collected in different parts of the Colombian Caribbean, both in coastal and deep-sea areas and from limnoterrestrial samples (bryophytes and lichens). Most of the available material was obtained from projects developed by external entities that have deposited it in the collection and projects financed by the Universidad del Magdalena. The specimens are deposited under the acronym CBUMAG: NMA. The collection was documented, digitized and published for the first time during the execution of the IDB-CA2020-055-NAC project “Increasing the accessibility of marine information of the Natural History Collections of Colombia, through data mobilization, infrastructure strengthening and training”. The present dataset is the product of this process carried out between 2021-07-01 and 2023-06-30, as part of the deliverable “Marine Biology Collection of the Biological Collections Center of the University of Magdalena - CBUMAG” contributed by UniMagdalena to the project. Recently, a deposit of limnoterrestrial nematodes found in bryophytes and lichens was made as part of the project entitled “Micro and meso anhydrobiotic fauna (Tardigrada and Nematoda) associated to terrestrial habitats of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta” financed by the University of Magdalena.
