Queensland has extraordinarily high diversities of marine and terrestrial molluscs. These encompass the megadiverse faunas of the Great Barrier Reef, the Wet Tropics and the Brigalow Belt with over 17,000 species represented in our collections. The collection contains donated marine collections of exceptional scientific importance. Data downloaded from ALA (http://collections.ala.org.au/public/show/co147), marine records identified and taxa matched to World Register of Marine Species.
