South Australian Museum Ichthyology Collection - marine records

OBIS Australia Open in mapper Explore occurrences

The fish collection is comprised of over eleven thousand registered lots. The collection has a strong regional focus with freshwater fishes of southern and central Australia and Southern Ocean marine fishes, including deep-sea species, well represented. Data downloaded from ALA (http://collections.ala.org.au/public/show/co57) and non-marine records have been excluded. Taxa have been matched to the World Register of Marine Species.
