Micro-Computed Tomography (Micro-CT) Morphological Data of Chondrilla nucula and Hexaplex trunculus Subjected to Experimental Climate Change Conditions

This dataset includes 3D morphological data for two invertebrate species, Chondrilla nucula and Hexaplex trunculus. These data are part of the MACCIMO project (https://maccimo.hcmr.gr/), which aims to assess the effects of climate change on sessile marine invertebrates. Such organisms are particularly susceptible to climate-related stressors due to their limited motility and inability to escape adverse environmental conditions. Within this framework, 3D analyses were performed using micro-CT scans to evaluate potential morphological changes associated with climate change impacts.
