SeagrassSpotter.org Global Seagrass Point Dataset

Georeferenced seagrass point data from SeagrassSpotter.org, an online social network of citizen scientists observing seagrass meadows globally. All observations include location error estimation aligned to the cover component of seagrass as an Essential Ocean Variable (EOV). All data quality is controlled and assurred following citizen science collection with associated images. All data provides species present, date of collection, and url link to associated image, with some of the data containing additional metadata on seagrass condition and threats.
