This is the OBIS extraction of the Atlantic Cooperative Telemetry and Smithsonian Environmental Research Center (SERC) SERC Blue Catfish Study, consisting of the release tagging metadata, i.e. the location and date when the tagged animal was released, and summarized detection events of tagged individuals. If readers are interested in the source dataset they may also inquire with the project PIs as listed here or on the OTN web site (https://members.oceantrack.org/project?ccode=ACT.CBBCF).
Abstract:This project uses acoustic telemetry to understand the habitat use patterns of invasive blue catfish in Chesapeake Bay in combination with diet information to understand impacts on food webs. The primary study area is the Patuxent River, Maryland.
