Three Opisthobranch Records for the Hawaiian Islands

SWP OBIS Open in mapper Explore occurrences

This dataset comes from Bertsch & Johnson (1979) who published about the three new opisthobranch records for the Hawaiian Islands. Through extensive collecting by subtidal SCUBA diving on the island of Oahu, several species of opisthobranch mollusks then previously unreported from the Hawaiian Islands were discovered. This dataset documents the presence of a cephalaspidean and 2 nudibranchs in several diverse, subtidal habitats on the northern and southern coasts of Oahu.
