Cumacea (Crustacea:Peracarida) sampled by EBS and ROV in the HAUSGARTEN LTER observatory (Fram Strait) in 2023 and 2024

This dataset comprises a total of 1,908 individuals belonging to eight cumacean species, which were sampled during the PS136 and PS143/1 cruises in 2023 and 2024, respectively, in the long-term HAUSGARTEN observatory in the Fram Strait. Samples were collected using an epibenthic sledge (EBS) or by ROV 'Kiel 6000' slurp gun. Cumaceans were present at all sampled stations in the depth range 1199 - 2587 m, but absent at the deepest point, the Molloy Deep (5500 m). As the sorting process of 2024 samples is still ongoing, this dataset is part 1 of 2 for the cumaceans sampled during PS143/1 cruise.
