Dataset credits: Data provider Bare Sand Island Flatback, Green and HawksbillPrg Originating data center Satellite Tracking and Analysis Tool (STAT) Project partner Charles Darwin University, AusTurtle Inc. Cardno Ecology Lab, and Inpex Abstract: Two juvenile Green turtles and a single juvenile Hawksbill turtle were captured on the rocky reef south of Bare Sand Island, Northern Territory, Australia and fitted with Splash tags (Wildlife Computers). The turtles were released at the point of capture by AusTurtle Inc volunteers. This dataset is a summarized representation of the telemetry locations aggregated per species per 1-degree cell.
