Instituto Tartabinhas is a non-profit organization dedicated to nature conservation, which aims to: (1) increase knowledge about sea turtles found on the coast of the peninsula through scientific research; (2) expand knowledge to the entire population and visitors through environmental education; and (3) protect sea turtles and all the flora and fauna of the seas that surround the city of Bombinhas, Brazil.
