OBIS Argentina MeasurementOrFact Open in mapper Explore occurrences

The occurrence of marine mammals and the measurements of temperature and conductivity were recorded during the pilot expedition of the oceanographic cruise as the first step towards an wider and systemathic interdisciplinary project known as "Pampa Azul". The sightings on board followed a transect from Bahía Blanca 38º 44 'S to Puerto Madryn 42º 46' carried out between March 17 and 23, 2013. The line covered San Matías Gulf, the influence of the Peninsula Valdes front and Nuevo Gulf. The data is provided in OBIS-ENV-DATA format and includes 6 species, with 19274 records of physical variables taken on the transect.
