Original provider: Christophe Guinet Dataset credits: Data provider Weanling Northern Elephan Seals Originating data center Satellite Tracking and Analysis Tool (STAT) Abstract: This project is a collaboration between Christophe Guinet of CNRS and Dan Costa / Patrick Robinson at UC Santa Cruz. Weanling elephant seals were equipped with satellite tags to record their first trip to sea! This dataset is a summarized representation of the telemetry locations aggregated per species per 1-degree cell.
